CSA, Week 14

Today we started the fourth session of our CSA!  It's exciting that this is our fourteenth week of the CSA.  We kept the size at eight people (six students and two professors), and it was so fun to meet all of them today.  Each time we have such an awesome group of people involved!  I'm happy to get to know them.  In our crates, bins, and Michelle's big soup pot, we brought them tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, okra, basil, a salad mix of different types of lettuce and kale, and pea shoots.  A nice mix of summer and fall vegetables!I brought home some of the split tomatoes and extra basil, so I'm thinking about trying to make my own tomato sauce.  It might end up being a sort of thick tomato stew, in which case I'll probably just add some lentils to it to really make it a stew.  Either way is fine by me!
