Chance of Snow?!?!

High temperature for Thursday: 71 deg FahrenheitHigh temperature for Friday: 48 deg FahrenheitHigh temperature for Saturday: 41 deg Fahrenheit, with a chance of snow and Winter Storm Warning!!What just happened here?  Suddenly it's become quite chilly and really feeling like mid- to late fall.  I'm not prepared just yet!  I'm regretting deciding not bring back more hats and sweaters from home after Fall Break.  I'm also really worried about our garden.  We have some Frost Guard row cover over a row of lettuce, but other than that... oh no!  I've been checking the weather religiously the past days, but all of the sudden the forecast took me by surprise!I'm most worried about our greens (lettuce, spinach, kale, swiss chard, etc), but I think our root vegetables will at least be okay.  We pulled some of our turnips and rutabagas this morning for the CSA, and they look so good.  The actual root vegetable part isn't crazy big, but what I'm really excited about are the leaf greens!  This past weekend I cooked some turnip greens for the first time, and oh my!  They were delicious.  Thus, I can't help but gush about the greens...wow!When does Daylight Savings end? It is so dark in the mornings now.  This morning we decided to meet at 7:30am because it's still dark at 7 now.  I suppose this is a downside of fall.  However, fall is so beautiful, so it's ok!
